San Francisco

We had a great trip to the San Francisco area. The weather was wonderful, about 30 degrees cooler than where we live! We had the privilege of visiting with friends that just moved up to San Jose. We got to visit Napa Valley for the first time, that was beautiful and there are so many wineries. We stopped at a few for tasting and actually got to see some grapes being crushed in a big machine and one of the workers threw a bunch of grapes to us to eat! They were very tasty! Our friends dropped us off at our hotel in the city that evening. We did so much sightseeing, rode on the cable cars and ate a lot of good food! We realized there is a lot of waiting when you use public transportation, especially on a Sunday. Maybe we wouldn't have waited as much for the bus if it was a weekday. Hannah's Bonnet

I forgot to post about this cute bonnet I bought a long time ago! There is a fun website called Etsy.com where you can buy some neat things, mostly handmade or artsy items. One of the blogs I frequent, Renaissance, has a shop in Etsy and was selling this cute red bonnet. Hannah will wear it, but not for very long. But it looks very sweet on her! Thanks Rebecca!
